Sharon,
For quick service dining in your resort there is the
Beach Club Marketplace. It is nothing remarkable, but a great place to get a solid breakfast before heading to the parks.
Another suggestion with quick service dining is to consider splitting an entree for two adults. We end up eating so much more on vacation than we do in our home lives that splitting something still provides more than enough. You can always grab a second if you are still hungry!
As for quick service in the parks, I think each park has several good choices, but here are my favorites;
- Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bill's
- Epcot: Tangierine Cafe
- Hollywood Studios: The collective stands on Hollywood Boulevard, especially Fairfax Fare
- Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ
As for adoption celebrations, I have never seen an adoption-specific one. But you should ABSOLUTELY grab one off the
I'm Celebrating buttons. That is something definitely worth celebrating, and you should let the world know!
There are other ways to
build on the celebration, from cakes to fun dining experiences. I link you to some suggestions here, but would love to help you pick something specific to your daughter's interests. Let me know. And as to more dining suggestions, I would love to recommend some table service restaurants too, if you would like. Let me know some dining interests (cuisine likes/dislikes, character meals or not, dinner shows or not, etc.) and I can send more your way!
Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
