    Hello Doug! We just planned a trip for November 21-27. Our group consist of 6 adults and 8 kids (13/13/12/11/11/10/7/7) CRAZY! I was wondering if you could suggest a few places to eat that we could enjoy(maybe a glass of wine) that the kids would too?

    Pam,

    So glad that you are thinking of how EVERYONE in your party could enjoy the trip, not just the kids!

    Alcoholic beverages are sold in all the parks, except the Magic Kingdom. So here are my hidden gems in the other parks;

    Epcot - The World Showcase is an embarrassment of riches. For your group I would consider Biergarten at dinner for the entertainment and large beer steins. Otherwise just walk around and dine on appetizer-sized foods and try the beers of 11 countries!

    Hollywood Studios - Fun for your group (with some good cocktails too) is 50s Prime Time. The entertainment is equally appealing to kids and adults.

    Animal Kingdom - I like the Yak and Yeti table service restaurant for an exotic ambiance and some hard-to-find chinese beers. I also like, for an afternoon break, to visit the Dawa Bar in the Africa land. The outdoor setting makes for a lovely, and relatively quiet afternoon pause. The bar features lots of great specials, and kids are adequately distracted.

    Write me back with what resort you are staying in (and visiting for meals) and I can recommend some locales at those as well!

    Have a magical vacation!
