    Hi Doug,we are a family of 4 DS 6 & DD 2,we will be visiting WDW for the 1st time on 8/8-8/16,staying @ CBR,we have a tight budget and wonder should we buy the DDP?please help us plan our stay (park/attracton) we are open for anything(Dining)5ch/meal

    Wasiris,

    Let's start with the Dining Plan. Remember that there are three basic plans;

    • Deluxe: 3 table service meals, 2 snacks per day
    • Standard: 1 table service meal, 1 counter service meal, 1 snack per day
    • Quick Service: 2 quick service meals, 2 snacks per day
    These range in price from expensive to affordable. But all of them save money over just paying out of your pocket for the same meals. It just depends on which plan suits your dining. With a tight budget you will probably find that the Quick Service plan will help you save on those meals, and you can decide for the remaining meals if you will spend on table service, quick service, or perhaps bring your own food with you. Your call, really.

    I can't stress enough what a great deal that I think these plans are!

    I am glad to help with more planning. Please send me separate questions based on where you want to go, the kid's favorite characters, what kinds of foods you like, etc. Then we can work on your park-by-park plans, as well as some good restaurant suggestions!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
