Hi Doug!Thnx for the info abut 'Ohana MK fireworks on 11/2.Now that the schedule is posted, I see the MNSSHP is that night which is the reason for MK closing@7.What time would you suggest for our 10th Anniversary dinner to watch Hallowishes@'Ohana?

    Diana,

The great thing about fireworks is that you need the dark to set in for them to work! So if I were to guess (and an educated guess is what you are getting) I would say that you can assume they will be held at 9 pm (though I guessed 8 pm on the last answer).

If it were me I would schedule a dinner at 8:00 pm. Since you rarely get seated at 'Ohana on time, the likelihood is that you should be mid- or late-meal when the fireworks go off.

While I do find it magical to watch the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian, there are a few reasons why your plan to try to watch from 'Ohana is better. If it cold out, no worries for you. If it is raining, again, you are fine. And if you are dressed nicely for a night out on the town, who wants sand in their loafers?

So I would go with an 8 pm reservation time, and if forced to move in either direction, go for earlier and plan to take your time dining.

Final tip. Let them know when you check in that you are in it for the fireworks. Tell them that you will wait to be seated later if need be to get a good viewing table. Others with kids in tow don't have the luxury to wait, assuming their kids are hungry.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
