    Hi Doug,Thanks for taking my ?. Coming to WDW in Oct. with dining plan and was wondering about the Picnic in the Park at AK, what is the latest time we can order and the latest we can pick it up? We would like to take it back to our room at the POP. Thanks

    As this is a new offering, I have yet to be able to experience it myself, though I hope to in September. From what I have read, you can order by going to a Picnic in the Park podium, either the one near Guest Relations (on your left as you enter the park) or to the one at the Tusker House Restaurant.

    You can't pick up a meal no sooner than 2 hours after ordering. So if you want it to take home for lunch at the resort, and you plan on leaving the park at noon, then order no later than at 10 am.

    I think your idea of ordering it and then taking it back to your resort sounds like a fun way to have a nice private meal in your hotel room, or a picnic back on the fun resort grounds!
