Doug, Thanks for your help sorting out the mod-level resorts. Two more questions, however. Does the Caribbean resort have water slides at the pool? Also, how do the crowds in August compare to 4th of July week?

    Ray,

Yes, the new pool has a slide coming out of a "castle" structure that looks like a Caribbean port fort from a pirate movie! It may not be a Typhoon Lagoon style thriller, but it certainly seemed to keep the kids happy!

There is also a slide of sorts in the kiddie pool structure too.

As to your crowd question, I would suggest that all but the last week of August would be better (i.e. lighter) than the 4th of July week. Now when I say lighter, it will still be crowded, but maybe not so off-the-charts packed. I would describe weeks 1-3 of August as busy, and the last week (like the Independence Day weekend) as packed.

    I hope that helps!

    Have a Magical Vacation!
