    Doug-Thank you for your help. We are staying at the GFR&S. Are any of the rest. their 4 yro friendly? How about the Disney Jr at HWS? We also like Mexican/American/Italian/German food. What is the BEST Chara. Dining? Thx for your help! Really apprec

    Sara,

    We stayed at the Grand Floridian last fall, and will be doing so again in October. Here are my thoughts about their restaurants;

    1900 Park Fare: VERY kid friendly. A great buffet with wonderful character interactions.

    Citricos and Narcoossee's: These two are superb fine dining establishments. So while they are not unfriendly for a 4 year old, they are hardly entertaining.

    Victoria & Alberts: Kids under 10 are not allowed in (only case of this in all of Walt Disney World).

    Grand Floridian Cafe: Basic casual dining. Perhaps my least favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World, so while it is fine for kids, you should spend your money elsewhere.

    Gasparilla Grill and Games: This is the resort counter service option, and it is nothing special. But you can get that quick breakfast here.

    Other Questions!
    Hollywood & Vine with the Disney Junior characters is a very good choice, but be aware that there are no characters at dinner.

    For German I like Biergarten, but only at dinner when they have entertainment.

    For Mexican consider the Hacienda de San Angel over the San Angel Inn for a fresher menu with smaller portions that won't weigh you down.

    With Italian, for pizza the only choice is Via Napoli. But for other Italian you might find Mama Melrose to be a decent selection, and Il Mulino as a high end alternative.

    As for other recommendations, I have run out of space! So write me back for whatever I missed!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
