The Pirate rooms are so very different from any other room at either the Caribbean Beach Resort, or for that matter at any Disney resort. I would say that if your kids are going to be disappointed with not being in a pirate room, you may be courting disaster.

But if you think that this is not an issue, I would move to either of those two buildings you mentioned. I don't think that the walk from them to the Port Royale amenities area and the main pool are bad at all. In fact, they kind of add to the ambiance and experience. I like 45 better, but it is so close between them that it really doesn't matter.
