Doug, saw where you recomended bldgs at POP 5/4/6/10/9/1/3. I have a reserv.at POP in May and was told bldg 7 was a great location for the lake + close to buses but it is not on your list of bldgs. Should I request a diff bldg? Thanks

    Roxanne,

No, I would not bother. Really, I can't think of a building at Pop that I would advise AGAINST! It is a great resort because all the buildings are pretty close to the main lobby building. That is not necessarily the case at the other Value resorts.

I think I recommended those based on strictly proximity to the main lobby building, but some of the advantages of building 7 include close proximity to not only the larger parking facility (a real plus to those driving to Walt Disney World), the "Computer" pool (that is directly adjacent to the building), and to the lake and the walking path around it.

Would building 9 be better? Perhaps in some ways, but with no views of the lake.

If it were me, I would stick to #7. Maybe I would ask for Building 9 in my online check in, but I wouldn't waste the time of a phone call to ask.

I really hope I did not worry you about your room location! I think you will be MORE than happy with it, and will not look off at another building saying "Gee, I wish we were in that one."!

    Have a magical vacation!
