    Hi Doug, My Husband, two boys, ages 11 & 14, and I will be visiting Disney 6/3-6/9/10. Could you suggest an itinerary for our trip? We have hoppers and would like to avoid overly crowded parks. Can you include 1 day for Star Wars at DHS? Thanks!

    Denise,

    With older kids you will want to start to even out the share of days between the Magic Kingdom and other parks like Hollywood Studios. That being said, this is what I would do;

    • June 3 - Arrival Day
    • June 4 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    • June 5 - Hollywood Studios (all day)
    • June 6 - Animal Kingdom (AM) / Epcot (PM)
    • June 7 - Epcot (AM) / Hollywood Studios (PM)
    • June 8 - Park of Choice (AM) / Magic Kingdom (PM)
    • June 9 - Departure Day
    You will get your Star Wars fix on the 5th, but I think that with older boys you will want to return on a slower day as well, thus plans on the 7th.

    Leave the morning of the 8th open so you can decide which park has the most left for you to do!

    I did not know if you had time to hit the parks on the arrival or departure days. Write me back if you do. And also write me back if you need some dining suggestions! Those are the most fun of all! Just let me know likes/dislikes, and the itinerary you have decided on so I can help with ideas!

    Have a magical vacation!
