Hi Doug.Glad to see you are still on the panel. My family, mom, dad, DS 14, DD 18, can go to WDW in late Oct for MNSSHP or Nov 9-17 for MVMCP. Considering crowds, weather and both special events, which would you choose? Also, POFQ or CS for the resort? TY

    Marilea,

Thanks for looking for me! Yep, I just could not stay away!

First, to the resorts. Definitely Port Orleans. Why? With a pair of teens, I love the fact that you can let them hop on the boat to Downtown Disney and explore some on their own. I love Coronado Springs as well, but there is is more of a commitment to bus over from there. It also seems a bit sleepy of a setting for teens.

For the visit, I would say that either time is good, but I would opt personally for the November time frame. I think that Halloween has lost some of it's appeal by the time they are teens, but the holiday are always good. And of course the crowds are just a bit lighter during that time. Sure, you might miss out on the Food & Wine festival, but I am guessing that is not a huge deal to them.

I hope that this helps! I am still going to be here a while, so I EXPECT you to send me some more follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
