Hi Doug! You've been so helpful. Another ? Ressies at Paradiso 37 at 3P on departure day. Filght leaves at 8:40PM. Staying at CBR, using ME. Will we have time to eat and get back without missing the bus? Thanks so much!

    Jaynee,

OK, so let's walk through the quick math.

    • Dining at 3, and let's guess that you take an hour. That gets you to 4:00 pm.
    • Let's assume you wait a full 1/2 hour for the bus (should not take that long, but let's plan for the worst). Now we are at 4:30 pm.
    • It would take you about 10 minutes to drive to Caribbean Beach Resort from Downtown Disney, but you will be on the Disney bus system so assume something more in the range of 35-45 minutes, due to possible other stops. That puts you at a time as late as 5:15 pm.
Now your bus should be scheduled for 3 hours prior to flight time, meaning you should have a bus scheduled for 5:40 pm. That gives you about a 30 minute cushion, even after the fairly generous times we have put here.

So I think you should be fine. But to be sure, if you get to the post dinner time and seem to be waiting an eternity for a bus, be willing and ready to take a quick cab there to make sure you won't be late.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
