    Hi Doug! You've helped me in past,hoping u can help again. We're returning this year,staying @ BC. Unfort. we must go in Aug now-our dates: 8/11-8/18. I know it will be HOT/HUMID,but how are crowds that week? Value season starts early, 8/5? Will that help?

    So glad to see a repeat customer, so to speak! Thanks for asking me again!

    So crowds are going to be heavy. They don't get lighter until later in the month. If I were to rate them on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being holiday season crazy, I would say they will be around a 4 to 4 1/4. But of late I have found that August crowds have been a shade lighter than expected, so plan for crowds, but you might be somewhat pleasantly surprised.

    As for weather, the highs will be in the low 90s, the lows will be in the low 70s, and while the worst of the rainy season is over, you are still in the rainy time of year.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this can help you plan your trip so that you can have more fun.
