    Doug Visiting Dec11-17 at POR. My daughter wants to go to Sea World. How far is it and the best way to get there? We will not have a car there.

    Sea World is not all that far away, though you do have to get there via a fairly busy traffic area, so be sure to plan accordingly. Technically it is only about 9 miles, a 15 minute drive if everything works out right. But I would plan at least 30 minutes, to be safe.

    I would suggest talking to the transportation desk at the Port Orleans Riverside resort when you arrive on your vacation. Tell them of your plans to visit Sea World, and they can let you know of any existing shuttle plans for that day that might exist. Otherwise you probably will find that renting a cab is the easiest way to go, and should not run you too much. With tip it should be under $20, but I would plan for $30 to be sure.
