Hi Doug, DH, 2DS (8&6) usually visit during first two weeks of Dec. Thinking of coming during Jersey Week in Nov. How will that week compare to Dec.? Other option would be second week of Oct. around Columbus Day. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

    Tara,

That week in November will be more busy than either the December or October option that you list here.

If it were me, I would opt for the October date. I think that the weather then is more reliably enjoyable. I am not a big pool person, but a Disney vacation to me has to be a warm experience, one where shorts are preferable over pants, and it feels something like summer, though not the real Orlando melting summer!

The lightest of the three for crowds is your December selection. While I have been there when the weather was beautiful, 3 out of 4 times it has been rainy and cold. With the Jersey Week/November trip you do get better weather, but you never now how Jersey Week will bump the crowds, so I like to avoid that too.

So for me the order of preference would be October, December, then November. Thanks for the question!

    Have a magical vacation!
