    Hi Doug, Trying to plan my family's 1st WDW trip Nov 12-19. Do you think I should avoid MK during the weekend even in the slower season? Trying to plan which park to go each day- not sure what to expect re: crowds. Thanks!

    Jaclyn,

    Yes, if you can avoid the Magic Kingdom on a weekend day, you are going to help yourself by avoiding the natural crowds of a Saturday or Sunday.

    However, you should also avoid Mondays, if that doesn't cramp your schedule too much, as that day also seems to draw large crowds, particularly to the Magic Kingdom.

    Your most important rule, however, is this;

    Don't let avoiding crowds at the Magic Kingdom cause you to plan out a park schedule that you are not happy with. At the time of the year that you will be there the crowds are pretty manageable, and you should not have to worry about them as much as the typical summertime visitor.

    Please send me more questions if I can assist further!

    Have a magical vacation!
