Doug, 1st trip advice was invaluable. WDW 1/23-30 (pm travel) You advise not using DDP for 2-credit rest's. Does that include CRT bfast? If so, what MK/other rest. to add for 1/23? Have 1 each 1/24-30: LeC, CP, ViaN, 1900, R&Cr, CRT(can pay$), Ch M. Th

    Kathleen,

Thanks for the kudos! It really makes me feel good!

You are correct. I don't think that using dining plan credits for 2-table credit restaurants is a good use of your credits. That absolutely includes Cinderella's Royal Table. that is not to say that these are not good restaurants. But if you have to pay for some meals out-of-pocket anyway, pay for these and use the credits where they get you the most bang for the buck.

By the way, Le Cellier is about to become a 2-table service credit restaurant. Certainly you should still go there (SUPER-YUMMY!), but if you are able to use credits elsewhere and pay with cash here, do so.

As for adding a restaurant in the Magic Kingdom area, I don't think I have kept it much of a secret that I don't think much of the table service in the Magic Kingdom itself. I like Crystal Palace well enough, but otherwise I would head out to 'Ohana, Kona Cafe, or Whispering Canyon Cafe if I were using credits. If I were up for a really over-the-top meal, I would go to Narcoossee's or California Grill.

    I hope that this helps!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
