Hi Doug, I have never been to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch and was wondering if the bus at the Settlement Depot is closer to the ranch then walking from the boat dock?

    Susan Charlotte,

Thanks for asking me your question to planDisney!

Yes, the Settlement Depot bus stop at Fort Wilderness is closer to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch than the marina dock. As a matter of fact, the bus stop is just steps away from the ranch. But with the boat dock only being about 1/3 of a mile (1/2 of a km) away from the Ranch, either are fairly close. Really, which route you choose is reliant upon where you are coming from, and of course if mobility issues make minimizing travel distances more important.

    BONUS TIP #1
While you visit Fort Wilderness, make sure you visit the Settlement Trading Post, near the marina. This resort store has some fun souvenirs, including resort-specific shirts.

    BONUS TIP #2
If after you are done visiting the ranch you would like an adult beverage, swing on into Crockett's Tavern nearby. It is a great place to kick up your boots after a ride!

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
