    Hi doug, traveling sept 17-26th. Unable to get CM dinner reserv. but now showing open for lunch on website when booking. I was told both yes and no that characters will be there for lunch.however confirm. screen says no characters. what do you think?

    That is really interesting, as Chef Mickey's is almost never open for lunch. On rare occasions, like super-busy holiday seasons, they will open it up for lunch but it typically just Breakfast and Dinner.

    If I were you, I would call the phone reservation line (407-WDW-DINE) and try again. They should have a pretty good idea by now (since we are within 90 days of your travel time) if it is, in fact, open for lunch or not. Also they should have a solid answer on the character question.

    If they still seem unsure, please call me back, and I will see what I can find out behind the scenes!
