    Hi Doug, Thx for the QS info. Really helps. Have you ever used child activity centers. Do they serve dinner? Any opinions appreciated as we've never tried them but thought 4 yr. olds might enjoy a break from parks while we hit bigger rides. THANKS!

    Linda,

    A night at a Child Activity Center is a regular part of every family vacation. We have become regular visitors to the Never Land Club at the Polynesian. It is AMAZING!

    Yes, they do feed kids. They may have to be there by 6 pm to participate in some cases, but they have several options, basically covering all the kids meal basics, like mac and cheese, burgers, chicken strips, etc. They pick what they want to eat at check-in.

    Some general notes about the Centers;
    • Pick what club to use based on where you are staying, or where you are going that night. Go with location convenience.
    • You don't have to be a guest of the host resort. You just have to be a Disney resort guest.
    • Reservations are recommended.
    • Security is very good, with well trained counselors and a strict drop-off and pick-up program that ensures safety.
    • Centers are available in the Polynesian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, the Yacht & Beach Club, and the Walt Disney World Dolphin
    FYI, my girls INSIST that they get to go there. This is not something that we do TO them, but FOR them. And a nice date night for Mom & Dad is nice too. So as you can tell, I am a big fan!

    Have a magical vacation!
