Doug - Thx for input on the Polynesian. We will be there the same time in Sept/Oct. Here's a strange question. Does Captain Cook's have bags for carry out? I had to schlep my food back on a tray for the last 2 yrs at the WL. Seems far if in Tahiti.

    Debra,

I am not 100% sure on this, but I seem to recall the other day when I bought some stuff at Captain Cook's that they had some bags. That was just in early March. I know for sure that they did have bags in the Samoa Snacks store that was upstairs in the lobby longhouse, because I bought several things for back in the room.

An easy tip I like to pass on is that I always pack a few plastic bags from our local grocery store when we come to Walt Disney World. They really don't take up any space in your luggage, and they were great to have for wet clothes, grabbing provisions from the stores like you mention here, and about 100 other uses. In the case that you describe, I seem to recall that the paper bags that they had on the counters were pretty small, and these, which were tucked away at the bottom of our backpack, took care of the real work.

I hope that this helps! Maybe I will see you at the Polynesian! That will be me, up in the Tambu Lounge, enjoying one of Walter's finest creations!

    Have a magical vacation!
