Doug Thinking of a special adventure or memento for me and my wife ( Married 17yrs) while in Disney. Your thoughts would be appreciated. We will be there for a week 8/28 to 9/4 and have parkhoppers and staying at the riverside have dining

    Greg,

Trinkets get lost in a drawer, but a memory lasts forever.

I always think a romantic night is always a great idea. How about picking a restaurant she might enjoy and planning what I call “Dinner+”? So the dinner part is obvious. But plus up the evening with something extra.

If you pick a restaurant in Downtown Disney (Raglan Road, Wolfgang Pucks, or Bongos, to name a few favorites), then you get the romantic boat ride from your resort. Add to that a trip up the Characters in Flight balloon, or splurge with Cirque du Soleil, and you have a home run.

If you pick an Epcot World Showcase restaurant, maybe a stroll on the BoardWalk afterwards? Or go scuba diving in the Living Seas if you are super-active.

But my favorite is California Grill. Go early and have a cocktail out on the deck. Then have dinner. Then dessert, while watching the Wishes Fireworks.

The key here is, do something more than just dinner! Did I come up with something right for you? If not, tell me more about what you guys like to do, and I can come up with more suggestions!

    Have a magical vacation!
