    Doug, thanx 4 help. takin ur help with counter service meals. Frequent WDW visitor mom comin in Dec with me she hasnt been in over 10yrs.Not as adventurous with food as me and DH, any suggestions . Done several CS in past but of course not all Thanx

    Lisa,

    Counter service for the not-so-adventurous can still be great! Here are my picks, by park;

    Magic Kingdom
    Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
    Great burgers, including a new Angus burger that is great. But it is the fixin's bar that makes this more traditional fare even more of a deal.

    Epcot
    Sunshine Season Food Fair
    A great variety of choices, including international fare, but also some of those more traditional American choices. The food quality is quite good, and the indoor setting is fun and comfortable.

    Hollywood Studios
    Sunset Boulevard

    There are several stands grouped together here that offer lots of classic counter service selections. I think the pizza is only so-so, but after that you have a lot of variety, and a well themed seating area that makes you feel like you are near a movie set.

    Animal Kingdom
    Flame Tree BBQ
    I think this is one of the top counter service restaurants in all of Walt Disney World. But if you don't think that barbecue is standard enough, you can grab burgers at Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland, USA. that is a far better choice than pizzas at Pizzafari

    I hope that this has helped?

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
