Hi Doug! Thanks for your quick reply to Sanaa after dark! You mentioned night vision goggles, are these available at Boma? Are the kids allowed to use them at the table while we eat? That sounds like it might be fun! Which place would you suggest?

    Mindy,

No they don't actually have the night vision goggles at the restaurant. But they are nearby!

Boma is in the lobby of the Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House. At the back end of that main lobby is an exit out to the viewing area of the savannah. There you will find Cast Members with night vision goggles and plenty of information about the animals that you will see there.

I find that it is great to arrive for a meal a bit early, or stay around afterwards and enjoy this area. It really captures the magic that is Walt Disney World, transporting you to an African safari lodge.

Sanaa is a great meal though. If I was able to schedule meals at both, I would do so. I think that the food might be better at Sanaa, but the experience at Boma can be a bit better. Hard to make that call, but I would go with Sanaa for dinner and would still visit the Jambo House section for the savannah views.

    I hope that this helps?

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
