Doug - thanks for your previous responses. Made reservations for Beach Club standard room for next July. Staying 10 days with 3 grandchildren and dh. Suggestions for room request.

    Linda,

What I am going to recommend will seem counter to what I usually suggest. But in the case of the Beach Club, I think that you should actually request a room that is a bit further away from the lobby.

At any other Disney resort the walks can be pretty long from your room to the lobby. That means long hikes to get to the bus, the restaurants, the pools, and everything else.

However at the Beach Club you get a few perks by being a bit further away from the lobby. You will get away from the noise that the public areas naturally create. You will also shorten your walks to Epcot and the BoardWalk.

As it happens, you still will find that getting back to the public areas, especially the pool, will not be as bad as you might imagine.

I hope that this helps? And thanks for asking me the questions. I really hope you have a great vacation!

    Have a magical vacation!
