Linda,
There are a lot of things to do at the Beach Club. But some of them are ones that they would do without you, like the Sandcastle Club and the Albatross Treasure Cruise. I think with this possibly being the last trip with the grand kids, you should focus on things you can do together. Here are a few ideas;
Movies Under the Stars: Most nights you will find they project a movie on a temporary screen out on the beach. This is a fun way to hang out, watch a movie, and share a more relaxed evening that they can still enjoy.
Scavenger Hunt: Ask at the Guest Services desk of the resort about their resort scavenger hunt. Split up into teams and see who wins!
The BoardWalk: It is right there, and another way to have a fun evening. Rent a surrey bike. Go there for evening dessert treats. Watch the live entertainment of jugglers, magicians, joke tellers, and more.
Beaches and Cream: It is high time that you and your grand kids finally tackle the Kitchen Sink! This massive Sunday is a resort institution. Watch Gary from Disney tackle it on
this Disney Parks Blog Video.
Stormalong Bay: It is hot in Orlando in July. Dedicate time to the amazing pool, and enjoy a better than average burger at Hurricane Hanna's.
That is a start. We still have time to chat more before your trip. Tell me about any particular interests of the kids and we can come up with more!
Have a magical vacation!
