Doug, thanks for helping me plan another Disney trip! We have a split stay 5 nights ea @ BLT & BCV - how will our dining plan be affected by the split? Any tips for the transition? Also, it will be our 1st time @ the Contemporary-any must do, eat, see

    Desiree,

ALWAYS glad to see a "repeat customer" of the panel!

So with your dining plan purchase split, use all your first vacation stay credits by the end of the day that you transfer resorts. That keeps it all neat and tidy.

Also take advantage of a great perk few know of. Disney will transfer your bags from your first resort to the second on your changeover day. So when you get up the morning that you are moving, take your bags to the concierge. Tell them you are moving to the Beach Club Villas, and they will get the bags moved over for you that day. That's right, you don't have to move them over. You can start your park day right away!

In the Contemporary, the new Bay Lake Tower pool is great, and if you can get into the Top of the World Lounge, go there as well. It is very exclusive (DVC members only, while staying at the Bay Lake Tower), and has good appetizers and better views! In the main resort, I always recommend California Grill, and Chef Mickey's. I also think the Wave is better than reviews often say.

    Have a magical vacation!
