Doug, thanks for all your help and great answers; my worries lift more with each of your helpful hints! Another question: with a 7 and 4 yr old, is the park hopper option smart, or something we should do when they are a bit older?

    Ruth!

I am supposed to HELP you, not make you MORE worried!

    Let's do something about that.

The park hopper option is getting close to being a good idea, but with a 4 year old, I would still not do it. You really don't want to be dragging that 4 year old around just to take advantage of it.

Now if you want to do a lot of dinners at Epcot's World Showcase, and the overall cost of adding it is not that extreme, then maybe it is a good idea. But I would wait until your youngsters is at least 7.

That is just my personal opinion, of course.

One final thought. Fight the urge to overplan. Plan what you need to. What park on what day. Where will you eat most of your meals (namely breakfasts and dinners), and then let go a bit.

Remember, you are supposed to be having fun!

    Have a magical vacation!
