Hi Doug. Thanks for all your help. I have ADR at Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic Pkg.) on August 11 at 4:15pm. What time should we line up for Fantasmic. Will we have time to enjoy a ride or two?

    Lisa,

Fantasmic is at 9:00pm that night, so I imagine that you should be able to get a few rides in. Here is what I would suggest for a timeline. Remember, however, that I am being conservatively cautious so that you don't miss out.

With dinner at 4:15pm, I imagine you should be done no later than 5:30, if not sooner. Since you are there during a busier time of the year, you might want to line up as far out as 1 to 1 1/2 hours ahead of time to get decent seats. That puts you getting in line at 7:30 to 8:00. With the Fantasmic package that means you should have no problems.

Final rule of thumb. Look. Demand for Fantasmic changes all the time. When I  want to go to Fantasmic, I make a point of wandering by the que area for the show several times in the early evening. If the lines appear to be building up, I get in line. If there appears to be nobody lining up, I go for a ride and then return.

Kind of a pain, I know, but worth it for a good show!

    Have a magical vacation!
