I originally planned your schedule with the age of your kids in mind. Because of that, I worked based on the assumption that evening Extra Magic Hours were a bit beyond them. But the only real rule at that time is to avoid Epcot on Fri-Sun, as the start of the Food and Wine Festival will pack that park on the first few weekends with both vacationers and locals.

That being said, perhaps a few changes might work better for your group;

October 2 - Arrival Day
October 3 - Hollywood Studios
October 4 - Magic Kingdom
October 5 - Epcot
October 6 - Epcot
October 7 - Magic Kingdom
October 8 - Animal Kingdom
October 9 - Departure Day (or Magic Kingdom, if you have time for a park)

I hope that this adjusted schedule might make plans for the 6 adults in your group a bit more fun!
