Hi Doug! Thanks for answering my itinerary question. One more quick question. What do you consider the best quick serve restaurants? We are on dining plan and have a DD 6 and DS 10 and husband who loves his salads. Thanks for all your help.

    Lisa,

That is a bit of a tough call. Some of my favorite quick service restaurants don't happen to be the best places for salads, but here are my choices. I picked places I liked that had at least a decent salad on their menu, if not an exceptional one.

    • Magic Kingdom: Pinocchio Village Haus (Mediterranean Salad)
    • Epcot: Sunshine Seasons (several choices)
    • Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary (Asian Salad)
    • Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ (Mixed Green Salad with BBQ Chicken)
    • Downtown Disney: Earl of Sandwich (several choices) and Wolfgang Puck Express (several choices)
You will also find that the resort quick service restaurants have decent salad options. And if he is interested in some vegetarian non-salad meals, try Tangerine Cafe in Epcot.

By the way, if you want to splurge a bit and surprise him, you might send him to the Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios for lunch. It is an expensive restaurant, but it is where the Cobb salad was invented, and in my mind, perfected!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
