Linda,
Thanks for asking me your question to planDisney!
What an amazing way to see the Magic Kingdom! From walking through the utilidor system to all the great stories about the park, you are sure to have a great time on Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour!
So where will you take your mid-day lunch break on tour? Well, the restaurant can change without notice, but when I polled my planDisney pals for the latest and greatest intel on lunch for the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, all the recent tours appear to have had lunch at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café.
By the way, you don’t just walk up and order. You place your order from a select list of items, and they have it ready for you in a reserved area when you arrive. So nice to have a seat saved for you on a busy park day! The choices can also change without notice, but reports have these options currently on the menu.
- Fajita Platter (with pork carnitas and seasoned chicken)
- 1/3 lb. Angus Bacon Cheeseburger
- Sun Bonnet Trio Salad (add seasoned chicken or pork carnitas)
- Nachos (add seasoned chicken, pork carnitas, or seasoned ground beef)
- Veggie Rice Bowl (add seasoned chicken or pork carnitas)
- Tacos (3 tacos selected from seasoned chicken, pork carnitas, or seasoned ground beef)
- PB&J Uncrustable
The Veggie Rice Bowl, Sun Bonnet Trio Salad, and the PB&J are all vegetarian options, assuming with the first two that you just don’t add the listed proteins. You do also get a Coke product beverage.
I won’t break out any spoilers, but make sure you soak in all the amazing stories that your guide will unveil. If you are at all like me, the notes about the most minute details in the park really bring to life for me the reasons why Walt Disney World can be so magical. You start to see the dedication that so many Cast Members have poured into every nook and cranny.
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
