    Hi Doug! You suggested a night out for parents. Kids are 6 & 4. Not sure about the sitting service and where to go. Suggestions? We'll be there 9/22-9/28. Thank you!

    Patti,

    My recommendation that is you go with one of the Disney Child Activity Centers. These are located in a few of the Deluxe resorts. It is important to make two notes;

    1. You have to be a Disney resort guest to use this program.
    2. You DO NOT have to be a guest at the actual resort where the center is located.

    Our favorite is the Neverland Club, located in the Polynesian Resort. But they are all good. Others include the Cub's Den (Wilderness Lodge), Sandcastle Club (Beach Club), Simba's Clubhouse (Animal Kingdom Lodge), and Camp Dolphin (Dolphin Hotel).

    Choose the one closest to your resort, or night's destination. Focus on ease of transportation. Make reservation by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). They offer supervised crafts, games, and even provide dinner with the cost of the experience, as long as the kids are there in time.

    We love the secure setting, the clearly well-trained staff, and the fun and whimsical atmosphere.

    The cost is typically between $10 to $15 per hour, per kid. So not cheap, but the same as what we would spend taking them to a nice dinner out.

    Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
