Hi Doug what do you suggest for our last night ( 8/14) want to do something special. Have ADR at Whispering Canyon around 5. ( hopefully would have already seen Wishes/Fantasmic and Illuminations?) would see again but wanted the best last night thing.

    Melissa,

Certainly you are starting off your last night at Walt Disney World the right way! That will be a fun dinner that sets the mood for a great evening. So here are some suggestions for last nights that can play off that fun start.

    • Visit the Magic Kingdom and take in the evening vibe of Main Street, U.S.A. I would stay for another viewing of the parade and fireworks too, even if I had seen once before.
    • Walk the World Showcase at Epcot. This taste of the world can make for a relaxing final night, including great souvenir shopping. Ending your visit with the best fireworks show in all of Walt Disney World is not a bad way to leave!
    • Assuming you don't want to go back into a park, I love to end things on the BoardWalk. I adore the relaxing environment, including the folksy entertainment and enjoying a final decadent dessert from Seashore Sweets (or better yet from the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at the nearby Beach Club).

So that starts you off with some ideas, none of which should cost you anything. Let me know if you want other suggestions!

    Have a magical vacation!
