    Doug, you seem to know a lot about dining. Do you have any recommends for large groups with boys and girls? We are doing Princesses, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's, so character dining is kind of taken care of. We are staying one week, DDP. Thank you

    Katie,

    Sadly yes, I am all about dining. My growing waistline would agree!

    So with boys and girls both in tow, and character dining complete, here are a few of my fun (and delicious) favorites;

    Whispering Canyon and 'Ohana both have some server-led fun that makes the restaurant fun, but not so overwhelmingly invasive that you don't get through your meal. A slight edge on food to Whispering Canyon, but both are good.

    50s Prime Time has some at-table fun too. It is harder to get everyone at one table, but if you can get them to give you several tables in one common room you can still have fun, and the food is great too!

    Biergarten has great beer-hall entertainment at dinner, but appropriate for kids.

    Hoop Dee Doo Review is fun, but can be expensive, so consider the budget there first.

    Finally, if you are looking for one recommendation for the Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney, they are, respectively, Tusker House and T-Rex Cafe.

    Feel free to send me any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
