    Doug, you seem to give great advice for dining so here's another question. I know El Pirata Y el Perico in MK is seasonal. We will travel the 2nd week in Oct. will it be open then? Compared to the Mexican QS in Epcot, which do you like better?

    I expect that El Pirata Y el Perico will not be open then. Since that is a traditionally slower time of year, they typically will not have that open, as it is more about helping with larger crowd situations.

    On the other hand, the Magic Kingdom is likely to have a few counter service options closed during the Fantasyland renovation, so there is an off chance it might be. But again, I would not assume so.

    As for comparisons, I still prefer La Cantina de San Angel over Pirata y el Perico. There is more selection, and you can get a margarita to boot! That quick service restaurant is also being expanded dramatically, including the addition of indoor seating and a great deal more outdoor seating as well. So I would say that the Epcot choice is your better of the two, for many reasons!
