Doug, you say that you always take a break in the afternoon for the pool or naps We did this too on our last trip and plan to again I wonder how you fit in the afternoon Parades, we seemed to miss them , we couldn't get back to the park in time to see them

    Patty,

That can be a problem. I am more of a evening parade guy, so I don't let it bother me, but there is a way to take care of this. What we do is leave the parks pretty early, like at 11 am. We either grab a food court lunch (to save money) or a table service meal at our resort, then take an earlier break.

Even though we live in the same time zone as Walt Disney World, our internal clocks seem a bit off anyway because we are on vacation (staying up later, for instance), so the change is not as hard to accomplish as it would be at home when we are in our routine.

Another plus is that for those days that we are in parks where we don't care to watch the afternoon parade (like Epcot, where there isn't one), we have gotten ourselves on a schedule where we are taking lunch before the main rush. So it is easier to get an Advanced Dining Reservation at 11 am, or even to walk up and get a table, at the more popular in-park dining destinations!

    I hope this has helped?

    Have a magical vacation!
