Linda,
Thanks for asking me your question to planDisney!
I must admit, this is a first, even for me. I have never had to hunt down the paint color for a resort room at Walt Disney World.
But don’t worry, planDisney has come to the rescue!
I searched high and low, and yet another amazing Disney Cast Member was able to track down the paint color used in the studio rooms at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. While she could not confirm what paint brand it was, the color is called
Lighter Mint.
I dug a bit deeper. I found a
“Lighter Mint” available from Sherwin-Williams. Their code for it is SW6742. I also found a
“Light Mint”, available from Behr. It has a code of 480C-1. Both look like the paint in the rooms, from what I could tell. You can now go search each out and determine which will be the color that helps you recapture some of that wonderful Disney magic back home!
On a personal note, I enjoy hearing about when a guest falls in love with their
Disney Resort Hotel. I have had friends go on their first trip to Walt Disney World, expecting their hotel room to simply be a place to sleep. When they discover the magic of their resort, both on the grounds and in their rooms, they often share the wish that they had planned more time into their trip to simply enjoy that part of their stay. Oh well, next time, I guess!
Please feel free to
write me back directly again if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
Doug
