Doug, which restaurant in Downtown Disney would you recommend for our family with DD5, DS7 & DS9? Considering Raglan Road but wondering if there's another one that's unique (on Dining Plan too) or especially cool? Thanks!!

    Heather,

Raglan Road is my first choice. I think it is wonderfully scenic and well themed. But I also find that it is very kid-appropriate, even though it has the decor of a pub. Just don't be there late at night, as while still very pleasant, it really does turn into a bar. A fun, warm, friendly tavern, but still a bar.

Now Bongo's does have a cool 'Miami Vice' ambiance to it, but I think it is not as inviting as Raglan Road. I also don't care for the food as much. House of Blues is a bit too bar-ish at night for me to take my kids to, though I do like the funky atmosphere and food. Wolfgang Pucks has decent food, but no themed atmosphere that you would write home about.

Finally you have the T-Rex/Rainforest Cafe/Planet Hollywood options. Here the over-the-top theming in my opinion do not make up for average food.

Portobello and Fulton's are good, but expensive.

The other consideration is Paradiso 37. I have not had a chance to enjoy it yet, but it might be a nice option.

So it would be Raglan for me. Hope that helps!

    Have a magical vacation!
