hi doug, i just recieved my disney rewards visa card in the mail, can i use that to book my first trip. i was going to plan my vacation through aaa travel. do you recommend anyone else. Could i make reservations this early for dining and entertainment.

    Barbara,

If you have the Chase Disney Visa card, I do recommend using it to make your vacation reservation. Let the booking agent at AAA know that this is what you will use, and they should be able to look up whatever perks are active for cardholders at that time.

AAA is certainly a good place to go. No matter whom you use, make sure they are a no-fee, Disney Authorized Vacation planner.

As for making Advanced Dining and other entertainment reservations, almost everything has a 90 day reservation window. That means you can't reserve for a day further out than 90 days from today. With that precise of a window, it is important that you plan what you want to do, and schedule that day 90 days beforehand to call to make reservations.

One final perk of using a travel agent is you can have them make those reservations for you. Make sure you ask if they will do that.

    Have a magical vacation!
