Doug, read the panel every day ur r great!! luv ur answers they r great. My ? is. i want to take hubby to dinner just the 2 of us one night.. have ddp what rest do you recommend? He luvs seafood... but i dont.. also luvs steak..thanks so much!!

    Jennifer,

    You flatter me! Don't stop!

So if he likes seafood, the obvious choice is Flying Fish. But you don't, and the non-seafood choices there are pretty limited. He loves steak, and I bet you like about anything that falls in-between?

Then I won't beat around the bush. There are two optimal choices. They are both exceptional restaurants, and ones that I adore.

California Grill - I consider this the finest meal I have ever had in the United States. Period.

Jiko - The food here is over the top, and the South African wine list is exceptional.

I give the nod to the CA Grill for the view, and the food, but only by a very slight nudge.

I think Jiko has a great experience, largely because you can view the savanna before or after your meal, and it is a wine-enthusiast's dream.

Either way, you are set. They are both superb date night meals.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
