    Hi Doug! Here from 7/6 after 3 pm to 7/12 w PH and waterpark. Should we start w Aloha Dinner on 7/6 or start w Epcot since EMH? Also help w our itnerary? Any suggestions for restaur. have Dining Plus & kids are older not necessary to have character din

    Jim,

    You are coming at a busy time of year, so I suggest avoiding Extra Magic Hours, including that first night. With a late afternoon arrival I would suggest that rather than rushing off to a park, have a nice, entertaining dinner on your arrival night. I like Aloha, though it is more about the campy luau entertainment and less about the food. That is how I am starting off my vacation this fall!

    As for a park itinerary, with some dining suggestions, here are a few;

    • July 6 - Enjoy your resort and have a great meal!
    • July 7 - Magic Kingdom (All day) (Whispering Canyon Cafe or 'Ohana at nearby resorts)
    • July 8 - Hollywood Studios (all day)(50s Prime Time Cafe or Mama Melrose)
    • July 9 - Water Park (AM) / Epcot (PM) (Biergarten, Rose and Crown)
    • July 10 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    • July 11 - Animal Kingdom (AM) / Water Park (PM) (Tusker House)
    • July 12 - Hollywood Studios (all day)
    Note that I don't initially plan you park hopping. With crowded parks, the less time you move around the better. That being said, use the hopper to get to meals at locations other than these initial parks.

    Write back with your final itinerary for more detailed dining suggestions!

    Have a magical vacation!
