    Doug please help! 8am reservations at Donald's Safari. I thought I read Ak parking lot does not open earlier. Is it true? Help. 5 adults 4 kids under 7. what do we do? Only one vehicle. We need a plan? Vaca 35 days away. Thank You

    You are right, that the parking lots at the Animal Kingdom park do not open up as early as they seem to at other parks. With a park opening of 9 am, but your breakfast scheduled for 8 am, it will probably be a problem.

    If it were me, I would do one of the following;

    • If I was staying in a Disney resort, I would ask the transportation desk in the resort a few days beforehand what to do. They can usually help.
    • If I could do it, I would take the resort transportation instead of my car, assuming that I was in a resort, and that it was running early enough, as per the resort staff.
    • Assuming none of that applies, I would call the restaurant directly and ask them what to do. They should be able to provide some direction.
    • If they can't help, and taking a cab or otherwise doesn't work, you might just have to bump your plans to later, like 8:45 am.
