    Doug please help me. First trip ever! Have a daughter going to be 6 on 9/3 while at Disney, and a 19 month old boy. I will be there on 9/2 arriving at11:15 am at airport. Staying at Movies Resort. Leaving on 9/8 at 7:10pm. Don't know anything else.

    Paula,

    Don't worry, you are already well on your way. Here are some recommendations that I have for you in planning your trip;

    • Write me back in early June. That is when the daily schedules for the parks will be posted for September, and we can plan out your days.
    • Make sure that your first park experience is the Magic Kingdom. This should be the first park you enter, period!
    • Make sure you secure Advanced Dining Reservations for EVERY table service meal that you plan to have. With the free dining offer in place in September, a much larger percentage of the guests at Walt Disney World will be dining at table restaurants than usual, so the restaurants can sell out quickly.
    • Look at therestaurant pages at the website. Get an idea for some of the meal experience that you and your daughter want to try out. If you need suggestions, just write me back with some ideas on what kinds of food you like, what kinds of experiences you might enjoy, etc.
    • Consider some of the special birthday celebration programs that Disney offers, like specialty cakes!

    Let me know how I can help further!

    Have a magical vacation!
