    Hi Doug! Planning 1st WDW trip for Sept 2010; is it better to arrive mid-week (cheaper flights, lighter crowds)? Hope to stay 6 nights. How soon can I book a resort? If they offer free dining next year, can I add that to my package? Thanks!! Kelly

    Kelly,

    Actually, I am planning a vacation to Walt Disney World for then as well! Here are my suggestions;

    First off, I prefer to arrive mid-week, either on a Wednesday or Thursday, dependent upon what day the flights are cheapest. I also like it because I get home with a weekend to relax and re-energize. Also, arriving mid-week means that you are here for the full weekend, which is when more events occur.

    You should be able to book online sometime in the fall of 2009, probably around August. But if you go with a no-fee travel agent, like Mouse Fan Travel, you should be able to get your booking done sooner. Another perk there is that they can keep an eye out for you for promotional packages like the free dining and have it added to your reservation!

    I hope that this helps!

    Have a magical vacation!
