    Doug, we are planning our 2nd visit to Walt Disney World in June 2010 (June 19-26). We are staying at Ft. Wilderness (cabin) and was hoping you could help us build a plan on what park to visit each day and what restaurants you would recommend. Thank you.

    Goldie,

    I am more than glad to help. However I am just going to take a stab at the second half of your question, recommending some restaurants that I think you may enjoy, based on your resort location. I am glad to offer park day suggestions when Disney publishes their Extra Magic Hours for June in about a month. Just ask me then, and I will be glad to add that then.

    So here are a few area restaurants that I like;

    At Fort Wilderness
    Hoop Dee Doo Review - A classic show with G-rated entertainment
    Mickey's Backyard BBQ - A unique dining experience with an outdoor setting, live entertainment, and character greetings
    Trail's End Restaurant - A convenient buffet good for getting a good meal and a faster start to your day.

    At Wilderness Lodge
    Artist's Point - Good if you want some nice fine dining at a nearby venue
    Whispering Canyon Cafe - Tops on my list for food and fun

    At Monorail Resorts
    California Grill
    - My favorite fine dining here
    Chef Mickey's - A top character meal experience
    'Ohana - Great views and a fun, but different, meal
    Spirit of Aloha - A fun, if expensive, luau

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
