Hello Doug, I am planning a trip for family. it is ourt first trip and want to make most of it. I am looking at the animal Kidani Villa and Saratoga spring location and there is a price difference and trying to see if the animal kingdom is worth it

    Gurinder,

OK, so I am hard pressed to steer someone away from the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The setting and atmosphere are phenomenal, the restaurants are fantastic, and the pool complex for the Kidani Village is so large, it had to actually apply as a water park - seriously!

However, the cost savings of Saratoga Springs is pretty significant, and might make it worth the change. Also, Saratoga Springs puts you in a more central location, once closer to Downtown Disney.

So here is how I would go about making the decision.

    1. If price was the most important factor, I would go with Saratoga Springs.
    2. After that, if I had smaller kids, I would stay at Kidani Village. The pool, atmosphere, and animal viewing areas are truly special.
    3. If I had a mostly adult group, I would go for Saratoga Springs. The access to Downtown Disney for shopping, dining, and nightlife make the location a real plus.

I am glad to handle any follow-up questions, if you have them. Or if you want to send me more information about your groups makeup and interests, I can refine my recommendation.

    Have a magical vacation!
