    Hi Doug, I am planning our 2nd trip to Disney for 11/10/13 to 11/15/12 (excited about Christmas decorations) and staying at POR. We have 5 day tickets with park hopper, any suggestions on an itinerary. We do not want to do Epcot this trip. Thank you!

    Andrea,

    I am glad to help out!

    I am going to assume that your vacation is this November, not in 2013. If it is in 2013, the actual planning may change a bit, based on when and where Extra Magic Hours are, thought this should be a good initial plan, even for then.

    Here is where I would go, based on your parameters;

    • November 10 - Arrival Day
    • November 11 - Magic Kingdom (all day, with evening Extra Magic Hours)
    • November 12 - Animal Kingdom (AM, with morning Extra Magic Hours) / Hollywood Studios (PM, with evening Extra Magic Hours)
    • November 13 - Magic Kingdom (all day, with side trips to see Holiday decor at Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, and other monorail resorts if time allows)
    • November 14 - Hollywood Studios (AM and afternoon) / Downtown Disney or BoardWalk (evening)
    • November 15 - Magic Kingdom (all day, with morning Extra Magic Hours)

    On the 14th, where I have you spending an evening at either Downtown Disney or the BoardWalk, I would recommend Downtown Disney first, just for the larger range of things to do. But if neither seems to excite you, then by all means stay at the Hollywood Studios, where the holiday decorations and activities are great!

    FYI, you may find the week you are there that many of the resort decorations are either just done, or still being assembled. They typically start in early November, but even if you come across some 'under construction', that can be a fun sight to watch as well!

    Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
