Hi Doug. I am planning our first trip to WDW with my DH, DS 10 and DD 7. We will be arriving 9/18 late afternoon and departing 9/28. I was wondering if you could suggest what parks on what days. We have 9 day tickets w/Park Hopper. Thanks

    Jamie,

Here are my recommendations. I don't think you should hop parks every day, even though you have the hopper.

    • September 18 - See below
    • September 19 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    • September 20 - Epcot (AM) / Magic Kingdom (PM)
    • September 21 - Animal Kingdom (AM) / Hollywood Studios (PM)
    • September 22 - Epcot (AM) / Hollywood Studios/BoardWalk (PM)
    • September 23 - Hollywood Studios (AM) / Epcot (PM)
    • September 24 - Magic Kingdom (AM) / Downtown Disney (PM)
    • September 25 - Animal Kingdom (AM) / Animal Kingdom (PM)
    • September 26 - Hollywood Studios (AM) /  Epcot (PM)
    • September 27 - Water Park (AM) / Magic Kingdom (PM)
    • September 28 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
Regardless of where you are staying, plan a nice dinner for your arrival day, one with a scenic or entertainment venue nearby. It is a nice way to ease into your Disney vacation. If you send me another question with your hotel and dining preferences, I can recommend a venue that is both ideal for you, as well as nearby (so as to avoid you having to spend a lot of transportation time).

Let me know if you need restaurant suggestions, or other advice from here!

    Have a magical vacation!
