Hi Doug! We will be going to the parks on 10/21(my son's 12th B-Day) -10/25. Could you please recommend parks, dining(we have purchased the dining plan), and any xtra special must see events (ie-Not So Scary Halloween). We r staying @ the BeachClub!!

    Karen,

I think that I would approach the parks as follows, making the most of evening Extra Magic Hours. While I am a fan of the Halloween party, I don't know if a 12 year old will enjoy it enough to offset the high additional cost. I have also shown a few favorite table and counter service meals, by park (or nearby).

    • October 21 - Epcot
      • Counter: Tangierine Cafe
      • Table: Biergarten, Rose & Crown, Les Chefs de France
    • October 22 - Magic Kingdom
      • Counter: Pecos Bill's
      • Table: Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge), 'Ohana (Polynesian)
    • October 23 - Animal Kingdom
      • Counter: Flame Tree BBQ
      • Table: Tusker House, Yak and Yeti
    • October 24 - Hollywood Studios
      • Counter: Sunset Ranch
      • Table: 50's Prime Time Cafe
    • October 25 - Magic Kingdom

This is just a first stab at a schedule. Plan some time at the nearby BoardWalk, and at Downtown Disney too. Also check for special resort activities like movies on the beach, and the Albatross Cruise.

I am glad to field any follow-up questions. Just let me know what you need, and information that will help me guide you, like preferences, dislikes, etc. Break your questions up so I can give you multiple suggestions.

    Have a magical vacation!
